The big building over my left shoulder is the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) where they do the prep work on the shuttle and boosters. It's a mammoth building up close. The launch pad is on my right. You can't really see it, but it is right on top of the little strip of green on the horizon. I could see it with a good pair of binoculars. 2/7/2001 5:00:00 PM
